Zenith's digital rights management system for hospitality and healthcare — the secure standard behind premium HD and video-on-demand in hotels and hospitals across the country.
Pro:Idiom is a robust, highly secure DRM system that facilitates rapid, broad deployment of HDTV and other high-value digital content. Unlike general-purpose DRM, it was designed specifically for managed environments — hospitality, healthcare, cruise, fitness, and multi-dwelling units — resulting in lower costs and reduced maintenance.
Content providers require encryption of premium HD signals in these environments. Pro:Idiom's world-class encryption, integrated design, and broad compatibility make it the clear choice for delivering content to guests, patients, members, and residents with confidence.
Pro:Idiom protects premium content across a growing range of managed environments.
Hotels and resorts delivering premium HD, video-on-demand, and interactive services to guest rooms.
Hospitals and patient rooms combining entertainment, education, and care-team communication.
Cruise lines bringing secure, high-value content to staterooms and onboard venues at sea.
Gyms and connected fitness equipment — Life Fitness, Technogym, TRUE, Woodway, and more.
Multi-dwelling units — apartments, student housing, and senior living — with managed, secure TV.
New environments are added as Pro:Idiom expands to wherever premium content travels next.
Zenith makes licenses available to qualified companies worldwide. Evaluation begins under a 90-day NDA; three adopter agreements cover the ways a company can participate.
A license to manufacture Pro:Idiom products. "Sink" devices like TVs and set-top boxes may be sold generally; "source" devices such as head-end encoders may be sold only to other Adopters.
A license to purchase and use Pro:Idiom source functions — for interactive-system and integration partners building out properties — without rights to manufacture products.
Available to content providers to use and cause the use of Pro:Idiom in securing their high-value programming for the hospitality and healthcare markets.
System Provider and Manufacturer agreements include a one-time $5,000 technology access fee and a $1,500 annual administrative fee, with Compliance and Robustness Rules.
